“Hair has definitely not been my thing,” said Greg Wickherest to The Huffington Post. So the recently divorced father of a 3-year old girl named Izzy decided to visit the cosmetology department of the College he works at to ask the students for some help. He soon went from doing a simple ponytail to much more advanced hair styles.
“In no time, I was able to do a simple braid, then a fishbone braid, and a French braid. I learned how to do a ponytail, then flip it through itself either under or over. I call that an inverted ponytail.”
It’s unlikely most Dads are going to be able to compete with his news skills and do the hairstyles for their daughters like he can, but they can listen to this great advice he had for other Dads about about enjoying every minute they can with their kids.
“The good and the not-so-good. Even the blowout diapers, the tantrums in the store, and the late night, up sick, catching-throw-up-in-your-bare-hands nights. Because it doesn’t last forever.”
