Build a bike for a deserving student!

Join CYCLE at the world’s largest bicycle build and giveaway through December 8th at NRG Center. Through CYCLE, students sign a contract, setting their academic goals for the school semester, and those who achieve them earn a bicycle, teaching them the valuable lesson that hard work equals reward. Since the start of its mission to improve children’s literacy, CYCLE has awarded over 160,000 bikes to hard-working students in the Greater Houston Area with the help of companies and members of the public that make donations and volunteer time to help build and deliver bicycles. Once built, CYCLE delivers the bikes to excited students who have earned their reward. Houstonians looking to make an impact in their own city can register to build a bike on the following days:

  • Wednesday, December 5th (bike building):  5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Thursday, December 6th (bike building):  5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday, December 7th (loading bikes):  9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 8th (bike delivery):  7:00 AM – until the last bike is delivered!
